Training Services

MicroFinanza Rating has developed an extensive range of training modules to meet the needs of various stakeholders.

Training participants

MicroFinanza Rating training targets a diverse range of microfinance stakeholders including local, regional, national and international microfinance networks and associations, development agencies, donor organizations, investors, apex bodies and other stakeholders.

Many important microfinance actors utilize our training services including: the Boulder Institute of Microfinance, BlueOrchard, ICCO, REDMICROH, CDC Group, RFR, ASOMI, etc.

"The training brought together investment officers from AFD and Proparco, specialized in banking and/ or microfinance. Participants were trained in the specificities of microfinance financial analysis and social performance assessment tools. By illustrating the theory with concrete and varied examples from MicroFinanza’s experience, the training highlighted the links between financial performance and social performance of financial institutions. It also contributed to develop a common language within the team; after the success of this training, AFD plans to integrate it into a common 'core training program' for the new investment officers joining the team."
Mathilde d’Orgeval
AFD’s Financial Sector Department, France
"The training provided valuable insight into how investors can support the institutions they support to ensure their products better serve low-income clients. Hearing first hand examples of good practice and case studies really bought the client protection principles to life and provided us with tools to use in our investment process going forward."
